Efforts to reduce childhood obesity are incomplete without healthy eating habits. Parents need to make available healthy alternatives for their children.

 

Is you child struggling to maintain healthy weight?
Know your child's BMI

  • Include fruits and vegetables in the daily diet
  • High calorie and high fat foods should be removed from the food list
  • Sodas and sugar sweetened drinks should not be used
  • Reduce the number of times your order take aways or eat fast food.
  • Control the quantity of food taken and limit the portion sizes.
  • Encourage children to drink milk and water instead of aerated drinks.
